Chief Technology Officer, RF Industries
Mark Mezzapica commenced working at RF Industries in 1990 following 10 years of service in the Sydney Ports Authority as a radiocommunications network engineer. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) from the University of NSW and is a longstanding member of the IEEE.
During his early years at RFI Mark was responsible for the design of custom multicoupling and filtering solutions across a wide range of customer applications. The experience gained during this time gave him a unique insight into intermodulation issues and other interference mechanisms that can affect radio network performance, and he was then selected to contribute as an Australian Standards committee member in the development of a standard outlining suitable guidelines for the configuration of shared radiocommunications facilities.
Mark is now Chief Technology Officer at RFI and is responsible for a team of more than 30 multidisciplinary engineers involved in the company’s ongoing research and development programs covering antennas, and a wide range of active systems products.
