The Comms Connect team is a small but efficient group of dedicated individuals that work closely together to achieve high-level events within the Critical Communications sector. Below is our team and a little about our individual role in Comms Connect.
Events Director (Exhibition Sales & Program Director) – Westwick-Farrow Media/WFevents
As WF Media’s events director, Paul has a wealth of experience in both b2b publishing and events, having started his media career in London 20 years ago at one the UK’s largest business-to-business publishers. In 2007 he was one of the founders of Comms Connect, with conferences and exhibitions across Australia and New Zealand. Paul is known for combining the big picture with fine detail delivery and as such oversees event design, client services, finances, as well as sales & marketing within the business. His many years of experience allows him to offer balanced, professional guidance to the event team and to external clients when required.

Events Manager (Exhibition Sales) – Westwick-Farrow Media/WFevents
Narelle comes to Comms Connect with over 20 year’s media background. She joined us originally in 2009 but has re-joined us over the years.
Narelle’s role involves exhibition sales, client briefs and exhibiting enquires. She is a dedicated worker who thrives on surpassing client’s expectations and enjoys transforming a brief into memorable events.

Events Operations & Marketing Manager – Westwick-Farrow Media/WFevents
Lisa comes with a vast amount of event experience and has been instrumental in the development of the Comms Connect brand over many years. She has been with Westwick-Farrow Media for 15 years and her passion and dedication is unparalleled.
Lisa’s role involves client service, creative marketing, operations, exhibitor services, online registrations as well as digital marketing.

Event Coordinator/Marketing Support – Westwick-Farrow Media/WFevents
Katherine joined the Comms Connect team in 2014 in a full-time role. She graduated from Charles Sturt University with a Bachelor of Business Studies specialising in Event Management. Katherine has always loved exhibitions and the events industry.
Katherine’s role involves supporting the Event Director and the Operations and Marketing Manager. She looks after client services, supplier sourcing, exhibitor enquiries, registrations as well as onsite coordination.

Events Marketing Assistant – Westwick-Farrow Media/WFevents
Erica has helped out at many Comms Connect events and recently joined the team part-time.
She graduated from Macquarie University with a Bachelor of Marketing and Media. Erica is passionate about social media.
Erica’s role involves marketing, event enquiries, registrations and onsite coordination. Erica is also a talented amateur musical theatre actress.

Operations Manager (Exhibition logistics/enquiries) – ActionBrands
Ron has been providing a range of event management services to over 100 WFevents over the past 10 years through his team of skilled professionals at ActionBrands. Speaker Manager – ActionBrands
Lauretta began working at ActionBrands as a student on Industry training in 2012. She has since graduated from Macquarie University with a Bachelor of Business Administration, major in Event Management and is working fulltime as the speaker manager for Comms Connect. Lauretta enjoys working with each of the speakers leading up to and at Comms Connect events to ensure the conference runs smoothly. Telemarketing – ActionBrands
Carole calls potential delegates leading up to a Comms Connect event to ensure they have received email information, discuss various registration options and assist with registrations. Carole also supports Lauretta with onsite conference management. As a mother of two very active boys and a recent interest in learning Judo, we recommend you don’t mess with her.
