RF Technology is continuing to extend boundaries in software-defined radio design and manufacture. 2017 saw us boost our engineering and development resources, win one of the largest conventional P25 networks in the world (1600 base stations) and partner with Nokia to deliver broadband radio services. Given the focus on development, the company has progressed its product range adding MCPTT (Nokia) P25 ISSI gateway, P25 wide area trunking, our IP Console and many more innovations. The Eclipse 3 platform, a software-defined radio, is our flagship. The E3 features narrow thru broadband channelling (6.25 Hz to 20 MHz) and a broad tuning range (30 to 900 MHz). It will support all known RF protocols, from AM/FM through OFDM and everything in between, while offering a tailored flexibility never before seen in a commercial capacity. Multimode capable — P25, DMR, POCSAG, Analog, TETRA and LTE can all be implemented. High linearity offers robust connectivity. Conventional, simulcast/multicast and trunked solutions are supported. In the paging arena, dynamically controlled intersite equalisation coupled with high power and wide area coverage eliminates the need for constant network alignment and maintenance. RF Technology provides an all-encompassing, unique offering by applying agile IP expertise along with flexible radio network solutions to suit all mission- and business-critical operators.
